I wish you knew how life changing you were

Your arrival was like something I was expecting, unknown but at the same time like we met in another life, to think about that it just gives me chills, I’ve never experience something like that before but I knew it the first moment you said hello.

Then because life has it’s funny ways I don’t knew anything or expect anything from you, but years later we “found” each other again, it took me some balls to ask you out and you said yes, definitely it wasn’t like a true date but the butterflies were on my stomach all night, it took me so long to admit how I’ve been feeling about you, to be brave and honest.

Dropping off my shield was one of the hardest things I did, to let you enter and see all that I am but you were thoughtful and nice…I wasn’t no longer scared.
